Parkersburg, WV private investigator, Chance Sunday, accepts Carol McIntyre as a client. She asks him to find her daughter and clear her name. Her daughter, Laurel, disappeared after three brutal murders at a research facility where she worked part-time. Soon after he starts his investigation one of Laurel’s best friends is murdered. Sunday is afraid Laurel may be next. He must sort through the misdirection and lies of Laurel’s friends to find the truth.
