It’s the first in a four-part series in which ordinary people are caught in unexpected, challenging circumstances that can lead to changing the world. Or not. I started the book with an outline and detailed chapter descriptions. After four chapters into the book, the characters took over the plot and the story got better, still reaching the ‘end’ of Book One as intended. It has laid the groundwork for the remaining books of the story. It is in no way ‘fantasy’ or science fiction, but, rather, on the fuzzy border of science and its infinite possibilities. Plenty of funny parts as well.
