Trapped in her attic bedroom, with no explanation, and old woman, Sesame spends her days writing letters to her estranged sister, about the odd goings-on that are occurring in recent days.
Unable to escape what has become her prison, Sesame conveys her suffering and fears that grow worse with each passing day. She believes that she is going mad, when finally she becomes convinced that the house is haunted by the presence of three souls living on the first floor. Soon, it is clear that the house is haunted -- only the ending reveals by whom.
