At the turn of the 20th century, William Carp, renegade, tracker, and gunslinger, enters the twilight of his years. Accused of murder and stripped of all his possessions, he is compelled to undertake a dangerous mission ordered by a former acquaintance, Mcnaully, to track down a band of ruthless outlaws led by the notorious Nate Cartwright. Unaware that Mcnaully has designs of his own, Carp reluctantly agrees.
Sally Dobbs lives in seclusion, tending to her sick husband and their only child. Nate and his two brothers tear into her life slaying her husband in cold blood and snatching away her daughter for a vile purpose.
While following a track, Carp happens across the injured yet indomitable Sally. Together they set out to hunt down the same men, one spurred on by exoneration and a new beginning, the other by love and vengeance. Both soon discover the ‘Old West’ still thrives and with it comes high dangers and quick deaths.
