The Little Queen is the first in a series of sci-fi mystery and adventure tales that take their inspiration from the myths and folklore of old. Jennifer Airhart is a tinkerer living in a lighthouse (miles from the ocean). Kaya Cade is a punk guitarist and former bully. Eleven year old changeling Tenley Tych is pound for pound one of the most powerful warriors in history, and doesn't like pigtails. Together they fight monsters and corporations and from Jen's lighthouse try to support and keep each other safe from all the nasty things in the rest of the world.
It's a story about friendship and personal discovery as well, and in the end leaves only one question - just how does Jen support herself anyway? And where did she get all the gadgets from? Two questions.
