Research and deep intuition lies behind this ghostly, historical mystery romance. In many ways, I was directed by an inner voice, or voices, in the creation of Traitor's Curse. I was walking our farm meadow, pondering the plot, when I heard (in my head) a woman say, "Master Stuart do not venture here." Along with that warning, I saw (in my mind's eye) her float toward me in the mist. I didn't know if she was real, or a ghost. Neither does Stuart Monroe, hero of the story, especially as he's in the graveyard at the time. And this is how the novel begins.
