Wychetts (pronounced “Witch-etts”) is an ancient timber framed cottage, which although derelict and crumbling, contains an amazing magic power that is awoken accidentally by Bryony and her hated stepbrother Edwin when they arrive with their parents to start life as a new family.
Weird things soon start happening: Edwin’s pet mouse Stubby learns to speak human, giant spiders materialise from the toilet, and the fireplace in the living room comes alive!
On discovering their new-found powers, the children face a choice of using magic to rid themselves of each other, or save Wychetts and the world from the clutches of the evil Shadow Clan..
