Hello, Rebecca Hamilton here! I have some pretty awesome news to share, and it's not just about the sale. It's the reason FOR the sale. And here it is: THE FOREVER GIRL has been optioned for film!
Nothing is set in stone yet, but i'm working with some pretty awesome people already. One of them is producer Brian Witten, who has worked on such films as American History X, The Wedding Singer, Final Destination, The Chernobyl Diaries, and Friday the 13th. More recently, he was involved with filming THE CELL with John Cusack (an adaption of a Stephen King novel). He's also a fellow In This Moment fan (okay, maybe my trip to L.A. had something to do with that).
Only time will tell what Hollywood thinks of The Forever Girl: Do they dare portray witches in a good light, a la Charmed, or are we doomed to the villainizing of witches? Will The Forever Girl pull them under its spell? What about you?
