Trans-Siberian Odyssey - travel kindle ebook marketing by Kate Young
Trans-Siberian Odyssey is the inspiring tale of a
5,000-mile rail journey from post-Olympic Beijing, through Mongolia,
Siberia and on to Moscow.
Journalist Kate Young
had always wanted to travel on the Trans-Siberian Railway and the death
of a colleague resulted in her being challenged to write a charity
fundraising book of at least 100 pages whilst on the 18-day trip.
This wacky writing challenge led Kate to record how
she was blown away by the sheer size of the Great Wall of China,
fascinated by the symbolism of the Forbidden City and enchanted by the
ancient beauty of the Temple of Heaven.
Join her as she rides a horse across the Mongolian
steppes like Genghis Khan, survives the hurly-burly of the Mongolian
capital Ulaanbaatar and escapes amorous advances by a Siberian man near
Lake Baikal and makes it to the Tsarist majesty of Moscow in a poignant
trip on the Trans-Siberian Railway.
This book is sold in aid of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice, a registered charity on the Isle Of Wight, UK.
To date (November 2013), it has raised £6,000 for the hospice.
