Pawnbroker is a tale of everything going wrong for no apparent reason except bad luck, and one man's attempt to rise to that challenge. This one actually began as an experiment. I created a new Word document one day and started typing, without the slightest idea of what would come in the next paragraph, much less the next page. It was so much fun that I decided to keep it going. I purposefully avoided thinking about the story when I wasn't writing, to maintain the spontaneity.
Once the first draft was finished, I put it through the editing paces (both mine and professionally) and was pleasantly surprised when people loved it. I hope you do too. (Warning: Once you start, you may not be able to stop!)
