The novel is penned by Pretty Woman actress Lucinda Sue Crosby. The
author was one of the Olsen twins in the movie.
The book takes place in 1947 Iowa and is an adventure story about
Francesca, a spirited and eccentric woman who entertains her
granddaughter over the summer. When a mysterious pilot comes to live
on their property life gets interesting. The group embark on a man
hunt for a wanted felon and in the process stumble upon a century-old
secret of how the town, Lost Nation, got its name.
Of course there is also an old fashion love story for the romantics at heart.
